Press roundup – March 23
The Idealist.org Handbook to Building a Better World has been out for 20 days, and the first press is in. The folks at the Now Possible blog called the Idealist.org Handbook an “utterly indispensable guide for people who want to change the world for the better.” The St. Petersburg Times mentioned the Handbook in its “Notable” book feature (March 8).
Russ Finkelstein, Associate Director of Idealist.org and a major contributor to the Handbook, spoke with the Charlotte Weekly (March 13-19) about finding the right opportunity for you and avoiding “care fatigue,” noting that “even little things add up to a lot.” (PDF, 23.7 MB!)
Russ also appeared on Truthdig (March 20), discussing how “we all have something to give,” how even small businesses can get involved in CSR, and much more. You can listen to the full interview here.
Leave us a comment and let us know what you think of the Idealist.org Handbook! Thanks.
